The zinc stripping inside the pipe is performed using steam for ½’’ / ¾’’ / 1’’ sizes. For 1 ¼’’ and bigger sizes, the zinc inside the pipes are removed using pressurized air. The removed extra zinc is sent back to galvanization ladle. This allows for great reduction in zinc wastage.
